Description of application – Demolition of existing bungalow and garage and erection of 2 x detached two storey dwellings with garages and formation of new vehicular entrance to House 2.

 

Oral representations in support of the application were received at the meeting.

 

It was moved, and seconded that electric car charging points be installed for each new dwelling.

 

Members having considered the report, objections and representations, RESOLVED that PERMISSION BE GRANTED as recommended, subject to the conditions and informatives set out in the report of the Chief Planner with the addition of two further conditions to read:-

 

12  Notwithstanding the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015 (or any Order amending, revoking and re-enacting this Order) no buildings, structures and extensions of any kind shall be erected or made within the curtilage(s) of the dwelling(s) hereby permitted without the prior approval in writing of the Local Planning Authority.

Reason: In the interests of protecting the character of the area and residential amenity of neighbouring properties in accordance with Policy 37 of the Bromley Local Plan.

13 Prior to first occupation of the new dwellings two electric car charging points (one per dwelling) shall be provided and permanently maintained thereafter.

Reason: To minimise the effect of the development on local air quality and to comply with Policy 120 of the Bromley Local Plan and Policies 6.13 and 7.14 of the London Plan.
