Report DRR17/063

The report advised Members of the requirement introduced by the Brownfield Land Register Regulations (2017) to prepare and publish a register of previously developed land (brownfield land) which they consider appropriate for residential development within their area in a Brownfield Land Register by 31 December 2017, and to review it annually.

The sites proposed for Part 1 of Bromley’s Brownfield Land Register were those with planning permission for five or more residential units, or sites of at least 5ha in size and known to be capable of residential development with five or more units, or sites identified in the Draft Local Plan. The report sought Members’ approval of the sites proposed for inclusion in Bromley’s Brownfield Land Register - a summary version was set out in Appendix 1 to the report.

The report had been considered and approved by Development Control Committee on 16^th November 2017. 

RESOLVED that

(1) In line with the requirements of the Regulations, the Council’s Brownfield Land Register comprises the sites set out in Appendix 1 to the report.

(2) The Chief Planer be authorised to finalise the details of the Brownfield Land Register prior to publication by 31^st December 2017 in line with the Regulations.
