Information about Executive, Resources and Contracts Policy Development and Scrutiny Committee

The Executive, Resources and Contracts Policy Development and Scrutiny (PDS) Committee is responsible for scrutinising the work of the Council's Executive and the Resources, Commissioning and Contract Management Portfolio Holder. It considers matters relating to the strategic management of the Council, such as finance, human resources, information technology, communications and property management.

 

Members of the public are permitted to ask one question of up to 50 words at each meeting of the Committee.  The question must be relevant to the terms of reference of the Committee or the Portfolio Holder. Please let us know whether you will attend the meeting to put your question in person, or whether you require a written reply. All questions and replies are published in the minutes of the meeting. 

 

In accordance with the Council’s Constitution, questions from the public that are not specific to reports on the agenda must have been received in writing by 5pm, 10 working days before the date of the meeting. The deadlines are expected to be:

 

Meeting on 25 March 2024: Monday 11 March 2024

Meeting on 20 May 2024: Friday 3 May 2024

Meeting on 24 June 2024: Monday 10 June 2024

Meeting on 16 September 2024: Monday 2 September 2024

Meeting on 10 October 2024: Thursday 26 September 2024

Meeting on 25 November 2024: Monday 11 November 2024

Meeting on 20 January 2025: Monday 6 January 2025

Meeting on 10 February 2025: Monday 27 January 2025

Meeting on 24 March 2025: Monday 10 March 2025

Meeting on 19 May 2025: Friday 2 May 2025

 

Questions specifically to clarify reports on the agenda should be received within two working days of the normal publication date of the agenda. The deadline is given on each agenda. 

 

One question is allowed per person per meeting.

 

At special meetings, only questions relating to reports on the agenda are taken.
