The Environment and Community Services PDS Committee
examines executive decisions and reviews policy on transport
(highways development, traffic, road safety and parking), street
services, waste, recycling and parks and open spaces.
In
accordance with the Council’s Constitution, questions from
the public that are not specific to reports on the agenda must have
been received in writing by 5pm, 10 working days before the date of
the meeting. So, for the meeting on 13th March, 2024,
the deadline for receipt of general questions regarding the
Portfolio was 5pm on 28th March.
Questions specifically clarifying reports on the
agenda should be received within two
working days of the normal publication date of the agenda. The
deadline is given on each agenda. For the meeting on
13th March, 2024, the deadline for the receipt of
questions was 5pm on 7th March.
Questions should be limited to 50 words, and please specify if
you would like to attend the meeting and receive an oral response,
or if you would like to receive a written response. We will
endeavour to supply written responses as soon as possible after the
meeting.
Please note members of the public are limited to one question
per person.
At
special meetings, only questions clarifying reports on the agenda
are taken.
Question Deadlines for the meeting on 12th June 2024.
For the meeting in June, general questions regarding
the Portfolio should be received by the Democratic Services Team by
5pm on 29th May.
After agenda publication, any questions related
specifically to reports on the agenda should be received by the
Democratic Services Team by 5pm on 6th June.
