Description of application – Elevational alterations, conversion of garage to habitable accommodation, single storey rear and rear dormer extensions and conversion into 4 flats with 4 car parking spaces, bicycle storage and associated landscaping at rear.

 

Oral representations in objection to and in support of the application were received at the meeting.

Members having considered the report, objections and representations, RESOLVED that PERMISSION BE GRANTED as recommended, subject to the conditions and informatives set out in the report of the Chief Planner with the addition of a further condition to read:-

11  Prior to the commencement of the development hereby approved, details of measures to minimise the transfer of noise including method of insulation between the approved development and 27 Samos Road shall be submitted to and approved by the Local Planning Authority.  The development shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details and retained permanently thereafter.

Reason: In order to comply with Policy BE1 of the Unitary Development Plan, Policy 7.15 of the London Plan and to ensure a satisfactory standard of residential amenity.
