REFUSED

Description of application – Single storey front extension, part one/part two storey side and rear and first floor front extension.

Councillor Fawthrop and Councillor  Michael Turner objected to the size and bulk of the proposed development.

Members having considered the report, RESOLVED that PERMISSION BE REFUSED for the following reason:-

1.  The proposal by reason of its design, bulk and mass would be an overdominant form of development that would be detrimental to the character and appearance of the host dwelling and surrounding streetscene, contrary to Policies BE1 and H8 of the Unitary Development Plan, Policies 37 and 6 of the Draft Local Plan and Policies 7.4 and 7.6 of the London plan.
