Document Declaration of Verification Number

Under the Local Government Act 2000, electors in Bromley may petition the Council to hold a referendum on whether or not the Council should have a directly elected Mayor. The number of signatures on the petition must equal or exceed the Verification Number in order to trigger the holding of a referendum.
