That the Dedicated Schools Grant allocation for 2024/25 and the methodology of its distribution be approved.

The Local Authority is obliged to account for and distribute funding received from the Government for the purposes of Education in accordance with the relevant legislative accounting procedure.

The Dedicated Schools Grant allocation for 2024/25 has been notified for the Local Authority as £372,204,386 allocated across four blocks.  These blocks comprise the High Needs Block (£65,268,934); Early Years Block (£38,034,418); Schools’ Block (£266,887,487); and the Central Schools Block (£2,013,547).
