Decision details

(1)  The progress of Bromley College in delivering the Bromley Youth Employment Project be noted and reviewed again in three months to give adequate opportunity for the College to improve performance.

(3)  If progress remains unsatisfactory, project delivery be reconsidered at this point.

Report DRR13/133 provides an update on the delivery of the Bromley Youth Employment project – the project being delivered by Bromley College of Further and Higher Education on behalf of the Council.

Although the project was originally delayed due to unforeseen staffing changes at the College, progress has not been as expected since the project’s launch in July. The report identifies problems in the first quarter’s delivery and explains the actions taken to redress the issues.

Payment is made on the delivery of outputs so the Council’s investment has been protected.
