Decision details

(1) A first resolution is made under S205 (i) of the Highways Act 1980 in respect of the carriageway as follows:

  The Council do hereby declare that the carriageway within the street junctions of Summer Hill / Gosshill Road and Barfield Road / Gosshill Road: is not sewered, levelled, paved, metalled, flagged, channelled, made good and lighted to its satisfaction and therefore resolves to execute street works therein, under the provisions of the Private Street Works Code as set out in the Highway Act 1980.

Schedule of works

  Part 1  - From the street junction Summer Hill / Gosshill Road indicated as point AA to a point BB in Gosshill Road, as detailed in drawing  number 11690-01.

  Part 2  - From point BB to a point CC in Gosshill Road as detailed in drawing  number 11690-01.

  Part 3 - From point CC to the street junction of Barfield Road  / Gosshill Road indicated as a point DD, on drawing number 11690-01.

(2) proposals to fund the works, as outlined in Report ES14038, be agreed.

The above Decision concerns the adoption and making up of Gosshill Road, Chislehurst, to create a new cycle path and general highway improvements.

The proposed approach is approved and a first resolution is made under the Private Street Works Code (Highways Act 1980).
