The Portfolio Holder for Public Protection and Safety noted the report and considered the options concerning the charging for CCTV evidence packages.

The Portfolio Holder agreed that all requests for CCTV evidence packages should be charged at £10.00 per request. Where evidence could be provided, there would be a charge of £50.00 per request in addition to the initial £10.00 charge. So in these cases the total charge would be £60.00. There would be no charge to the Police.

After consideration of the charging options for CCTV evidence packages by the Public Protection and Safety, Policy Development and Scrutiny Committee, the Portfolio Holder considered that the charges agreed were appropriate.
