(1) The contract for the provision of Tenancy Sustainment Services for Women in Refuges be awarded to Bromley Women’s Aid, commencing on 1st January 2016 until 31st December 2018, with the potential to extend for a further period of up to but not exceeding two years.
(2) Authorisation to extend the contract is delegated to the Chief Executive in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Care Services.
The Tenancy Sustainment Service for Women in Refuges is designed to meet the Council’s objectives within “Building a Better Bromley” to support independence, particularly for vulnerable people. The current contract expires on 31st December 2015 and a tender process has been carried out on a revised contract specification.
