Reasons for the decision:

Following the Portfolio Holder’s approval in March 2016 to re-run the tenders for various Council insurances following the early expiration of the Crown Commercial Services framework, a further tender process has been carried out using the OJEU process. Contracts are proposed to run for one year and nine months from 1st August 2016 with an option to extend for one year. It is essential to maintain appropriate levels of insurance cover to ensure adequate cover for Council properties, assets and services.
