Decision details

(1)  The 2015/16 provisional outturn position for the Environment Portfolio is endorsed.

(2)  The outturn position in respect of the Environment projects within the Member Priority Initiatives programme is noted.

(3)  Draw-down of the following carry forward sums held in Central Contingency be approved: £306,000 for parking automatic cameras (paragraphs 5.16 and 5.17 of Report FSD16037), £13,000 for the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Grant funded work (paragraph 5.18 of Report FSD16037) and £69,482 to develop standing advice that can be provided on surface water drainage proposals in major development planning applications.

The 2015/16 provisional outturn position for the Environment Portfolio shows an overall under-spend of £1.049m for 2015/16 against a controllable budget of £33.14m, representing a 3.17% variation. Excluding a carry forward sum of £306k, the under-spend is £743k.
