That the Council enter into a Deed of Variation varying a restrictive covenant placed on the sale of 20 Snowdown Close.
Following a decision made by the Resources Portfolio Holder in 2014, the Council sold 20 Snowdown Close, Penge, to South East Living, subject to a restrictive covenant which limits the redevelopment of the property to a maximum of six units. The property was subsequently sold to PJ Construction (Bromley) Ltd and Rutland Developments, who had just obtained planning permission on appeal in respect of conversion of the roof space to provide two additional dwellings.
The original development had recently been completed, and a number of purchasers were due to commence occupation before Christmas. The developer was therefore seeking a Deed of Variation of the covenant so that the structural works could commence as soon as possible.
