Decision details

(1)  The programme of 2018/19 schemes for submission to Transport for London as contained in the enclosure to Report ES17065 is approved.

(2)  Withdrawal of £100k funding for Local Transport Priorities by TfL with effect from 2018/19 is noted along with the Environment PDS Committee’s dissatisfaction and disappointment supported by the Portfolio Holder.

(3)  Authority is given to the Executive Director of Environment and Community Services, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder, and notification to Ward members, to make post-submission changes to the programme to reflect necessary amendments to priority, potential delays to implementation following detailed design and consultation, or other unforeseen events.

Report ES17065 outlines proposals for using Bromley’s Local Implementation Plan (LIP) funding of £2.432m from Transport for London (TfL) for 2018/19.

Submission of the proposed schemes to TfL will not imply approval of individual schemes for implementation – schemes can be subject to change. Authority is therefore given to the Executive Director in consultation with the Portfolio Holder, and notification to Ward Members, to make changes where necessary.

Unfortunately, the Local Transport Fund (LTF), previously providing an additional £100k each year to support local transport priorities, has been withdrawn with effect from 2018/19.
