1. That the Dedicated Schools Grant allocation for 2018/19 be approved.

2. That the National Funding Formula be implemented as the methodology for distributing the Dedicated Schools Grant in 2018/19.

The Local Authority is obliged to account for and distribute funding received from the Government for the purposes of Education in accordance with the relevant legislative accounting procedure.

The Dedicated Schools Grant allocation for 2017/18 has been notified to the Local Authority as a total sum of £267,488,046 allocated in four blocks comprising  the High Needs Block (£40,021,36), Early Years Block (£21,149,813), the Schools’ Block (£204,351,587), and the Central Schools Services Block (£1,964,910).
