That the Dedicated Schools Grant allocation and the methodology of its distribution be approved.

Reasons for the decision:

The Local Authority is obliged to account for and distribute funding received from the Government for the purposes of Education in accordance with the relevant legislative accounting procedure.

The Dedicated Schools Grant allocation for 2019/20 has been notified for the Local Authority as a total sum for 272,274,278 allocated in four blocks comprising the High Needs Block (£41,007,286), Early Years Block (£20,691,309), Schools’ Block (£208,637,223), and the Central Schools Block (£1,938,460).
