The volume of traffic in Homesdale Road makes it difficult to cross. There are four schools nearby and there have been calls from the schools, parents and carers for safer crossing facilities. A zebra crossing and other associated traffic calming measures, including a mini-roundabout, have been designed for this location to enhance pedestrian safety and reduce vehicle speeds.
