The Environment and Community Services Portfolio Holder endorsed the full Open Space Strategy as a framework for decision making in the Portfolio period 2021-2031.

The Portfolio Holder approved the latest Open Space Strategy as this superseded the previous Open Space Strategy which expired in 2019. The new strategy aligned with the objectives outlined in ‘Making Bromley Even Better’.   

The Strategy reflected the Council’s overarching vision for the Portfolio which was ‘An Open Space Portfolio that promotes the environmental, social and economic wellbeing of the borough, allowing residents, communities and wildlife to thrive’. This was reflected in the five Strategy objectives that set out the goals for this vision.
