Purpose:
Bringing the scope and design of the
'Residential Charging Pilot' back to ECS PDS committee for
approval.
Decision:
The Portfolio Holder for Environment and Community Services authorised that the LBB Residential Charging Pilot proceeds.
The Portfolio Holder agreed that minor changes to the LBB Residential Charging Pilot programme could be delegated to the Director for Environment and Public Protection in consultation with the Portfolio Holder.
The Portfolio Holder delegated authority to the Assistant Director of Legal Services to sign all ancillary legal documentation arising in connection with the pilot
Reasons for the decision:
The Portfolio Holder made the decision for the EV charging pilot to proceed as it contributed to LBB’s Electric Vehicle Charging Strategy.
The pilot would contribute to the National Net Zero target for 2050 and would also contribute to the intermediary 78% reduction in emissions by 2035 compared to 1990 levels
