That approval be granted to proceed to a competitive tender for the provision of the Domestic Abuse services for victim survivors for a four-year contract (2+2 years) at an estimated cost of £242K per annum with a total proposed value of £968K.

That the arrangements proposed in Paragraph 1.7 of Report CEF22059 to progress to contract award via an independent Portfolio Holder decision due to the proposed commissioning cycle not matching with the existing PDS meeting schedule be noted.

The Council’s existing contract to deliver a range of support services to women and girls at risk of, or who have suffered, domestic abuse will expire in 2022/23.  On 1 April 2022, the Mayor’s Office for Police and Crime confirmed grant funding from the London Councils’ Police and Crime Fund for the period 1 April 2022-31 March 2025, including a fixed annual value of £150k for the provision of the Domestic Abuse services for victim survivors towards which the Local Authority has committed a further £50k per annum.  Support services to women and girls at risk of, or who have suffered, domestic abuse contributes towards the delivery of key priorities within the Local Authority’s Making Bromley Even Better 2021-31 strategy comprising:

·  For children and young people to grow up, thrive and have the best life chances in families who flourish and are happy to call Bromley home;

·  For adults and older people to enjoy fulfilled and successful lives in Bromley, ageing well, retaining independence and making choices;

·  For residents to live responsibly and prosper in a safe, clean and green environment great for today and a sustainable future; and,

·  To manage our resources well, providing value for money, and efficient and effective services for Bromley’s residents.
