The Portfolio Holder for Public Protection and Enforcement noted the various options outlined in the report and agreed that Option 4 for the Out of Hours Noise Service delivery provision should be adopted as recommended.
The Public Protection Division’s Out of Hours Noise Service has been operating a revised service since September 2021. It was agreed that because of difficulties in providing the Out of Hours Noise Service using the current arrangements, a review should take place. An appraisal was undertaken in September 2022 and the options from the appraisal were presented in the report. After consideration of the various delivery options outlined in the report, it was deemed that option 4 was the most appropriate delivery option to be adopted.
The recommendations within the report are in line with the current Portfolio Plan for Public Protection and Enforcement, ‘Making Bromley Even Better’ and also the Safer Bromley Partnership Strategy.
