Description of application – Demolition of detached garage at rear and erection of single storey side and rear extension.

 

Oral representations from visiting Ward Member Councillor Tony Owen in objection to the application were received at the meeting.

 

It was reported that further objections to the application had been received and circulated to Members.

 

Members having considered the report, objections and representations, RESOLVED that the application BE DEFERRED without prejudice to any future consideration, to:-

 

·  amend the proposal to address concerns regarding the ground floor flank window in the neighbouring property; and

 

·  amend the proposal to provide a dual pitched roof to the side extension where it is visible from the street to be in keeping with properties within the Petts Wood Area of Special Residential Character.

 

If these reasons are addressed, a decision can be made under delegated powers.
