The Committee considered a report summarizing treasury management activity during the first quarter of 2018/19.  The report ensured that the Council was implementing best practice in accordance with the CIPFA Code of Practice for Treasury Management.  Investments as at 30^th June 2018 totalled £303.6m and there was no outstanding borrowing.  For information and comparison, the balance of investments stood at £284.8m as at 31^st March 2018, £320.1m as at 30^th June 2017, and at the time the report was written (20^th August 2018) it stood at £319.4m.

RESOLVED: that the Portfolio Holder be recommended to note the Treasury Management performance for the first quarter of 2018/19.
