Description of application – Extensions and alterations to the dwelling including a garage extension to the front.
Ward Member Councillor Kira Gabbert spoke on behalf of her fellow Ward Members and informed the Sub-Committee that they all objected to the application.
Members having considered the report and objections, RESOLVED that PERMISSION BE REFUSED as recommended, for the reasons set out in the report of the Chief Planner with an amendment to Reason 2 to read:-
“REASON 2: The proposed double garage by reason of its forward projection, excessive height, scale and bulk would result in a dominant and visually intrusive form of development, harmful to the visual amenities of the neighbouring properties, contrary to Policies 6 and 37 of the Bromley Local Plan.”
