Description of application   Demolition of Nos. 19 & 21 Anerley Road and construction of a new build  replacement 4 Storey building with basement to create 9 units (4 x 1-bed, 4 x 2-  bed and 1 x 3 bed) with associated refuse and cycle stores.

 

Oral representations in support of the application were received at the meeting.  Ward Member, Councillor Simon Jeal, read comments from his fellow Ward Member, Councillor Angela Wilkins, in support of the application.

 

Members having considered the report, objections and representations, RESOLVED that PERMISSION be GRANTED as recommended, subject to the conditions and informatives set out in the report of the Chief Planner with a further condition to read:-

“10. Prior to the commencement of above ground works details (including a maintenance plan) should be provided for a living/green wall on the northern flank elevation.  The living/green wall shall be installed in the first planting season following the first occupation or substantial completion of the development (whichever is soonest) and shall be permanently retained thereafter.

REASON: To accord with London Plan Policy 5.10 and Policy 70 of the Bromley Local Plan to enhance the biodiversity of the site.
