Description of application – Removal of condition 2 of permission 05/03149/FULL6 granted for the construction of a detached garage to allow conversion of part of the garage to habitable accommodation for use as a 'granny annexe' ancillary to the host dwelling at No. 74 West Common Road.
RETROSPECTIVE.
Members voted to request that the Assistant Director (Planning and Building Control)refuse planning permission on the grounds of unacceptable risk of severance and use as a self-contained dwelling, which would set an undesirable pattern for similar development in the area.
