Description of application – Conversion of the existing reception building into 6 x 1 bed apartments and 4 x 2 bed apartments, with 10 dedicated parking spaces, bin store and cycle parking spaces and associated store plus external alterations and associated hard and soft landscaping.

 

Councillor Fawthrop requested that in the event Members decided to grant permission, the condition relating to electric car charging points be amended to include a potential increase to 100% capacity.  This was supported by Councillor Terry.

 

Members having considered the report and objections, RESOLVED that PERMISSION BE GRANTED SUBJECT TO THE PRIOR COMPLETION OF A SECTION 106 LEGAL AGREEMENT as recommended and subject to the conditions and informatives set out in the report of the Assistant Director, Planning with Condition 11 amended to read:-

 

‘11  Prior to first occupation of any of the residential units, electric car charging points shall be provided to a minimum capacity of 20% car parking spaces with passive provision of electric charging capacity provided for an additional 80% of spaces.

 

Reason: To minimise the effect of the development on local air quality and to comply with Policy 120 of the Bromley Local Plan and Draft Policy T6.1 of the Draft London Plan.’

Oral representations in objection to and in support of the application were received at the meeting.

 

Further correspondence from the applicant’s Agent in support of the application had been received and circulated to Members.

 

Comments from Tree Officers reported at the meeting, included a request for the addition of a tree condition.

 

Councillor Fawthrop moved that permission be granted on the proviso that further conditions relating to windows, landscaping and removal of Permitted Development Rights and HMOs be added.

 

Members having considered the report, objections and representations, RESOLVED that PERMISSION BE GRANTED as recommended, subject to the conditions and informatives set out in the report of the Assistant Director, Planning with the addition of a further six conditions to read:-
