LONDON PLAN DRAFT SUPPLEMENTARY PLANNING GUIDANCE - LAND FOR INDUSTRY AND TRANSPORT pdf icon PDF 161 KB

Draft Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG) from the Mayor of London on Land for Industry and Transport covered a number of areas including management of industrial land and premises, provision of public transport capacity and safeguarding land for transport. The SPG was currently the subject of consultation until 23rd April 2012 and Report DRR 12/040 included a suggested Council response to the consultation.

 

Once adopted, the new SPG on Land for Industry and Transport would replace the SPG on Industrial Capacity (March 2008) and the SPG on Land for Transport Functions (March 2007). 

 

RESOLVED that:

 

(1)  the publication of the draft Land for Industry and Transport SPG be noted; and

 

(2)  the points included in paragraphs 3.19 – 3.25 of Report DRR 12/040 form the basis of the Council’s response to the consultation and that the Chairman agrees the final response in consultation with the Chief Planner for submission by the 23rd April deadline.
