4.	CONCERNS AROUND THE LJCC NOT FULFILLING ITS FUNCTION. JOINT DISCUSSION AROUND THE INDEPENDENT STAFF WELLBEING SURVEY AND THE REVIEW OF DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURES. The Staff Side would like to ask the following question: Do Members recall any items that the Management Side have brought to the LJCC (other than in response to a staff side request)? Will the Committee address concerns that the LJCC is failing to fulfil its function, and require the Management Side to bring forward items for consultation and discussion between the Local Authority and its employees. Specifically, in respect of items raised at recent LJCC meetings, UNITE would like to discuss progress and union involvement in the following matters: 1- The independent staff wellbeing survey being developed with ACAS 2- The review of disciplinary procedures
5.	INVITING REPRESENTATIVES OF OTHER EMPLOYEE ORGANISATIONS TO LJCC MEETINGS The LJCC constitution makes provision for external trade union officials, or representatives of other employee organizations to attend the meeting (without voting rights). Will the Committee ensure staff are effectively represented by inviting external trades union officials to the LJCC to discuss matters raised in agenda item 4 and other items where they have a contribution to make on behalf of staff?
6.	DATE OF NEXT MEETING The Committee is requested to note that the next meeting will be held on 9^th January 2019.
