The Public
Protection and Enforcement, Policy Development and Scrutiny
Committee examines executive decisions and reviews policy on
anti-social behaviour, drug action, youth offending, trading
standards and partnership with the Metropolitan Police.
In accordance with the
Council’s Constitution, questions from the public that are
not specific to reports on the agenda must have been received in
writing by 5pm, 10 working days before the date of the meeting. So,
for the meeting on 19th March 2024, the deadline
for receipt of general questions regarding the Portfolio, (but not
specific to agenda reports) will be 5pm on 5th March
2024.
Questions to clarify
details of reports on the agenda should be received within
two working days of the normal publication date of the agenda. The
deadline is given on each agenda. For the meeting on
19th March 2024, any questions relating to
clarification of reports on the agenda should be received by the
Democratic Services Team by 5pm on 13th March
2024.
Please note that
members of the public are limited to one question per person and
when submitting the question you should include your name and
address.
When
submitting questions, the question should be limited to 50 words,
and please specify if you would like to attend the meeting and
receive an oral response, or if you would like to receive a written
response. We will endeavour to supply
written responses as soon as we can post meeting.
At special meetings, only
questions relating to reports on the agenda are taken.
