The Pensions Committee monitors the financial
position and investment of the Council’s Pension
Fund.
Members
of the public are permitted to ask one question at each meeting of
the Committee. In accordance with the Council’s Constitution,
questions from the public that are not specific to reports on the
agenda must have been received in writing by 5pm, 10 working days
before the date of the meeting.
Questions specifically to clarify reports on the agenda can be
received within two working days of the normal publication date of
the agenda. The deadline is given on each agenda. At special
meetings, only questions relating to reports on the agenda are
taken.
The
Committee is advised at its meetings by Mr John Arthur, and members
of the Council’s Local Pension Board are invited attend all
Pensions Committee meetings.
