each meeting starts.
At present, only written replies to public
questions can be given.
The Council
comprises all sixty Members of the Council and deals with all the
major issues that the Council is concerned with.
In accordance with the
Council’s Constitution, questions from the public that are
not specific to reports on the agenda must have been received in
writing by 5pm, 10 working days before the date of the
meeting. The deadlines are expected to be:
Meeting on 1st March 2021: Monday 15th
February 2021
Meeting on
19th April 2021: Thursday 1st April
2021
Questions specifically on
reports on the agenda should be received within two working days of
the normal publication date of the agenda. The deadline is given on
each agenda.
At special meetings of the Council, only
questions relating to reports on the agenda are taken. Questions
are not taken at the Council’s annual meeting.
