LISTED BUILDING CONSENT GRANTED

Description of application - Demolition of single storey part of The Larches, LISTED BUILDING CONSENT.

Oral representations in support of the application were received at the meeting.

Members having considered the report, objections and representations RESOLVED that LISTED BUILDING CONSENT BE GRANTED, as recommended, subject to the following conditions:

“1.  The works hereby granted consent shall be commenced within 5 years of the date of this decision notice.

REASON:  Section 18, Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.

2.  No demolition shall be undertaken and no equipment, plant or machinery for the purposes of demolition shall be taken onto the site until a method statement detailing the measures to be undertaken to demolish the single storey element and protect the remainder of the building has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority.  The demolition shall be implemented in accordance with the approved method statement.

REASON: In order to comply with Policy BE8 of the Unitary Development Plan and to protect the fabric of the Listed Building.”
