Description of application – Minor material amendment to planning permission ref: 13/03569/FULL6 for a part one/two storey front and side extension and single storey rear extension in order to omit a window in the side elevation and allow alterations to rear raised paving area.

 

Oral representations in objection to and in support of the application were received at the meeting.

 

The Development Control Manager advised Members that if the application was granted, Condition 3 should be amended to emphasise that screening should be retained.

 

Members having considered the report, objections and representations, RESOLVED that PERMISSION BE GRANTED as recommended, subject to the conditions and informative set out in the report of the Chief Planner with condition 3 amended to read:-

 

‘3  Notwithstanding the details hereby approved, details shall be submitted within 3 months of the date of this Decision Notice and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority showing raised screening to the side boundary of the patio with No. 194 Pickhurst Lane.  The development shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details within 2 months of the date of approval and shall be retained thereafter.

 

Reason: In order that the Local Planning Authority may be satisfied as to the detailed treatment of the proposal and to comply with Policies BE1 and H8 of the Unitary Development Plan.
