Description of application – Two storey side extension and conversion to form separate 3 bedroom residential dwelling.
Members having considered the report, RESOLVED that PERMISSION BE REFUSED for the following reasons:-
1. The proposed development would result in a cramped overdevelopment of the site which would be detrimental to the character and spatial standards of the area by reason of its scale, design and siting, contrary to Policies 3, 4 and 37 of the Bromley Local Plan.
2. The proposal would provide insufficient internal habitable space and a cramped and unsatisfactory living environment for the future occupants, contrary to the minimum space standards of the London Plan 2016, the London Plan Housing Supplementary Planning Guidance and Policy 4 of the Bromley Local Plan 2019.
