PERMISSION

Description of application – The erection of a shipping container to be used for storage purposes (equipment for litter collecting, park maintenance and enhancements) within the ground of Norman Park.

It was reported that Norman Park was in Hayes and Coney Hall Ward and the proposed development was in Bromley Common and Keston Ward.

Members having considered the report and objections, RESOLVED that PERMISSION be GRANTED as recommended, subject to the conditions set out in the report of the Assistant Director, Planning with a further condition to read:-

“4. Details of additional measures to further reduce the appearance of the container shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the beginning of the use of the container and maintained as such thereafter.

REASON:  In order to comply with Policy 37 and 49 of the Bromley Local Plan and in the interest of visual amenity.”
