Description of application - New rooftop extension, comprising 2B4P flat and alterations to existing staircase (amended application to approve application ref:- 17/02800/FULL1).

 

Oral representations in support of the application were received at the meeting.

 

Members having considered the report, objections and representations, RESOLVED that PERMISSION be GRANTED as recommended, subject to the conditions and informatives set out in the report of the Assistant Director, Planning with a further condition to read:-

“12. Details of the means of privacy screening for the balcony(ies) shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the occupation of the development hereby permitted. The development shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details and permanently retained as such.

REASON: In order to comply with Policies 6 & 37 of the Bromley Plan and in the interest of the appearance of the building, the visual amenities of the area and to maintain an acceptable level of privacy and residential amenity in respect of adjoining properties.”
