REFUSED

Description of application – Installation of 1no. jet wash bay involving installation of silt trap and associated drainage, erection of 2.6m high glass screens and installation of 1no. new 5m high pole mounted floodlight.

Oral representations in support of the application were received at the meeting.

Significant concerns were raised in regard to the unacceptable level of noise produced by the jet wash and the impact this would have on neighbouring properties.

Members having considered the report, objections and representations, RESOLVED that the application BE REFUSED for the following reason:-

1  The proposed development, by reason of its close proximity to the adjoining residential property, would have an adverse impact on residential amenities in terms of noise and disturbance, contrary to Policy 37 of the Bromley Local Plan.
