Purpose of committee

The Standards Committee promotes and maintains a high standard of conduct by Bromley councillors and co-opted members.  It has a membership of five Councillors and two Independent Persons.  If you have any concerns about the behaviour of elected or co-opted Members, please contact us by post to the Monitoring Officer, Director of Corporate Services, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley BR1 3UH, or by email to committee.services@bromley.gov.uk.

 

Public Questions

 

In accordance with the Council’s Constitution, questions from the public that are not specific to reports on the agenda must have been received in writing by 5pm, 10 working days before the date of the meeting. The deadlines are expected to be:

 

Meeting on 4th June 2020: Wednesday 20th May 2020 

Meeting on 22nd October 2020: Tuesday 8th October 2020

Meeting on 2nd March 2021: Wednesday 16th February 2020

 

Questions specifically on reports on the agenda should be received within two working days of the normal publication date of the agenda. The deadline is given on each agenda. 

 

At special meetings, only questions relating to reports on the agenda are taken.
