Decision making

Do you want to help us promote high standards at Bromley Council? The Council appoints two Independent Persons to provide an impartial view of Councillor conduct and sit on our Standards Committee. We are looking for a new Independent Person - for further information see the “Standards - Independent Person” folder in the “Useful Resources” link on the left of this page.

These pages contain agendas, reports and minutes of our meetings from May 2004 onwards.

A Calendar of meetings sets out the programme of meetings for the year, providing details of meetings and Officer contact information.

Members of the public can ask questions at any of our public meetings (Full Council, the Executive, Portfolio Holder meetings, Policy Development and Scrutiny committees or other regulatory committees) about their activities and decisions. Questions must be submitted 10 days in advance of the meeting, unless they relate to reports on the agenda. Two questions are allowed per person.

To speak on a planning application at the meeting it is being considered at, please call us on 020 8313 4745.

You can Subscribe to updates to set up daily email alerts on key words or topics.

Your Councillors provides information concerning each Councillor by ward and postcode, and information about standards of conduct is also available.

General information about Councillors and meetings, including the Council’s Constitution, the Councillor Code of Conduct, lists of Committee memberships, the Members’ Allowances Scheme and Officer Decisions, can be found in Useful Resources.
